Lucas Randolph
LLMSW, Clinical Social Worker
Many of us reach a point in our lives where we feel that something needs to change. Maybe you feel that life is no longer satisfying. Or maybe you feel like your thoughts are overwhelming, frightening and never stop. Many of us can feel anxious about almost everything, making it difficult to get through daily life. Others can feel that their career is no longer rewarding or their hobbies are not fun anymore. Any of these can lead an individual to feeling like they are drowning in a sea of thought or anxiety and unable to see the surface. If this is you, then therapy can help! My goal as a therapist is to tailor your time with me to whatever best helps you, as I believe that everyone is unique and as such will have their own path to healing. I do this by collaborating with my clients, drawing upon a mixture of their own knowledge of what has worked for them, as well as a variety of therapeutic techniques. I strive to provide a supportive, judgement-free environment for my clients where they can feel free to openly share their struggles and triumphs.
My Approach
I work with individual adults struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, emotional disturbance, coping skills, men’s issues and more. I do this by using a mixture of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, strengths-based therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, exposure and response prevention and more. I believe that each individual is unique and therefore will have their own path to healing. As such, I work collaboratively with my clients, helping them to discover what does and does not work for them. Ultimately, my goal for my clients is that they are able to become the best version of themselves and live the kind of life that they want to live.
